About this house rental
The perfect waterfront vacation home for you and your family. It comfortably accommodates six people and is located in a quiet neighborhood. Enjoy an oversized pool and the sunset from the tiki hut by the canal. It’s a true gem.
The property
Villa Sunset is the perfect place to relax. The space is modernly furnished and decorated with some furniture imported from Germany. The hardwood floors and modern kitchen give it a special atmosphere. It offers the perfect kitchen for a gourmet chef. It has everything from a fondue set, waffle maker, toaster, K-Cup coffee maker, double oven plus microwave, to a quesadilla maker. You definitely won’t be missing a thing. The kitchen is simply a dream for any cook.
In addition, you’ll find a selection of cookbooks in English and German. The cookbooks cover a variety of cuisines (Italian, German, seafood, etc.), and there are more than five cookbooks featuring gluten-free recipes.
The villa has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms:
The master bedroom features a king-size bed and is directly connected to the master bathroom. In addition, there is a 2-meter-long door leading to the pool area.
Amenities: king-size bed, walk-in closet, drawers, ceiling fan, alarm clock, desk with wireless printer, and various office supplies
The master bathroom features two sinks, a large shower, a whirlpool tub, and a toilet in a separate room.
Bedroom #2 also has a king-size bed and shares the bathroom with Bedroom #3. This bedroom measures 11x12 square feet.
Amenities: King-size bed, walk-in closet, ceiling fan
Bedroom #3 has two single beds and, as mentioned above, shares the bathroom with Bedroom #2. A sliding door leads to the pool area. The third bedroom measures approximately 15 x 15 square meters.
Features: two single beds, walk-in closet, two dressers, ottoman, ceiling fan.
The shared bathroom was renovated in the fall of 2018 and features a shower, two sinks, and a toilet in a room separated by a sliding door.
Guest Access
The property offers breathtaking and spectacular views of the intersecting canals. It is situated in an absolutely magnificent location on a very quiet street in the most sought-after southwest part of the Cape (see map for details). This timeless beauty is perfect for entertaining, but also serves as an outstanding hideaway in a beautiful tropical setting. The villa features a massive pool with an oversized veranda, a large wooden dock with an 8K boat lift (currently inoperable due to Hurricane Ian | Status 2023), a tiki hut, and an additional spacious concrete dock.
There are two bicycles you can take with you. In addition, there is a one-person kayak and a three-person canoe that can be launched from the canal.
You can also take your boat or car to the beaches of Sanibel Island or Fort Myers.
You can also rent a boat through various companies and store it at our boat dock.
Publix is right next door for your grocery shopping. The Lobster Lady is also very close by and offers the freshest seafood to eat in, take out, or prepare at home.
The place is unique in the way it’s set up as a primary residence, and everyone who stays there takes care of it as if it were their own. Although there are a few drawers and boxes, our villa simply has its own charm and a warm, welcoming feel.

It was a clean, spacious house with a great pool and nice views over the canal. My son and I enjoyed fishing here. Our family loves this area and we would stay here again. My wife likes to cook and was impressed how well stocked the kitchen was to do anything she wanted.
