TASUKI smart Higashishinjuku

We got room at first floor, very convenient. This part of Higashi Shinjuku is very quiet. The walk way from property to train station and Kabukicho side is very beautiful with some restaurants, cafe and convenient store. We experienced almost all rainy days during our stay and we enjoyed the smart TV and got everything we need in the property to be cozy and chill.

I think the cleaning can be done more thoroughly including spaces underneath the sofa etc. Overall, acceptable.

The room provided did not match the one I booked. Since there were two of us, I had specifically selected a larger room with a double bed; however, the confirmation sent by the host was for a small room with a single bed. I am a Level 3 member on Booking.com, and this is the first time I have encountered such an issue. Usually, the room I get is exactly the one I booked, so I didn't pay close attention to the confirmation details—after all, no one wants to sleep on a floor mat. Consequently, the two of us had to squeeze into a single bed for two weeks, and neither of us got a good night's sleep. Furthermore, the room was so small that there wasn't really space for a floor mat, unless we put it in the tiny hallway connecting the kitchen and bathroom. The property management offered virtually no service; when I saw the room and immediately asked to switch, I was told it wasn't possible. During our two-week stay, they refused to change our towels, citing environmental reasons, and we weren't even allowed to take the trash out—we had to keep it inside the room...
