The property was close to USF Tampa, had an inviting backyard, separate bedroom in the back, decor was very nice, and the host was very responsive.
The property was not cleaned very well (12 bags of garbage in the front lawn, backyard is one of the main highlights but was not swept, no internet, issues getting inside the property, broken bed frame, and roaches in the kitchen cabinet.
After one night, we moved to another house the host had that was more accommodating near downtown Ybor but it was further away from USF Tampa, which the reason for my visit was to stay closer to my son.

Not much but did notice filter for AC really needs to be replaced. Mattress pads on bed should be replaced. Other than great.

The space was clean and convenient. The backyard is so nice and very comfortable. Easy check in and check out was the perfect place for our quick getaway.

The inside was updated and cute. The outside was well thought out and looks very similar to the pictures.
We came to Tampa for a conference and chose to stay in a house instead of a hotel because we were looking for a common place to hang out and bond with our team…but we were all so disappointed in the reality of the property…it became a place to spend the night and that’s it. We are aware that what is advertised on the internet is usually a highlight reel…and I don’t like to criticize but being informed is huge. I read the reviews and there was nothing overtly negative when we booked.
The property boasts “4BR”, but the 4th “bedroom” is a shed in the backyard that has drywall and a mini-split ac, with a queen mattress on a short (3-4”) platform on the floor. It was cute, but not what we were expecting. And in our opinion, not what was advertised.
The “beds available” in the description of the facilities shows 3 queen size beds and no beds smaller than a full. There was only one queen bed…it was in the shed. The other two “main” beds were both full size. And the 3rd BR had two twins. None of the mattresses were comfortable- they were all lumpy and creaked with every turn. I’m pretty sure at least two of the bed frames were broken.
The sheets on at least one of the twin beds had stains that seemed old, but ??? The sheets on the full bed in the primary (which was a converted garage) were so worn they felt like you were laying on sandpaper. I’m not sure anyone actually slept “in” the bed…I think we all stayed on top of the covers.
We did see one small roach in the bathroom. We also live in Florida so we know the struggles, however, another review dated just a couple of days before our stay states a roach infestation so bad that they had to be moved to another property. This is concerning because I reached out to the hosts several times to see if we could check in early, but got no response. I gave my personal cell number as well as email information, so there was ample opportunity for them to say something. There was no mention of recent fumigation.
