Appartement Pamplemousses

I liked the location; it's a very peaceful place in a quiet village. Something that I was looking for. The hosts were kind and patient with us, and they had prepared the place pretty well.

Location was great, really accessible

We spent more time at the accommodation than originally expected and were very satisfied with the cleanliness throughout the place, which could be compared to European standards. The owners were extremely friendly and occasionally brought us fresh fruit. Everything necessary for living was available on site, and we especially enjoyed the opportunity to grill. The many outdoor seating and relaxation areas provided enough privacy for everyone. It should be noted that this is not a completely private villa, as the owners live on the ground floor while the accommodation is on the upper floor – but we actually liked that. One should also keep in mind that the accommodation is located within a local community. On the neighboring plot, cows are kept, so from time to time you may notice their presence, and dogs barking can also be heard regularly. In other words, you should not expect complete silence, as the local life and animals are part of the atmosphere. We didn’t mind and are used to such sounds. What we appreciated the most was the very good internet connection, as it was important for our work. The only thing we missed was a swimming pool – there is a jacuzzi, but the water is cold and it is located in the shade. The owner mentioned that a proper pool will be ready in December 2025. A shop is within walking distance. We would gladly stay at this accommodation again at any time.

The apartment has everything you need for a long stay. There is a large terrace, three bedrooms, so a bigger company can fit very well.

I don't know why no one mentioned in the comments that there are some cows living in the close neighborhood, so you can feel the specific smell in some of the rooms. This is really annoying. There is also a lack of cleanliness. Sticky day curtains, fingerprints on some of the surfices. When we arrived, we were told that the jacuzzi was ready but the water in it was dirty. It was not clear how long it had not been changed. Most likely, we had to clean it ourselves.
