Swiss Apartment Thunersee

Swiss Apartment Thunersee offered us a lovely stay overall and worked well as a base for exploring the Spiez and Lake Thun region. The property is an Airbnb-style apartment, centrally located near the city of Spiez, with excellent views overlooking the beautiful Thunersee lake. The scenery alone makes it a memorable place to stay. That said, the hosts were absolutely lovely. The owner was a very kind and sweet lady, and her 10-year-old son deserves special mention—he acted as the translator between German and English for us and knew every detail about the apartment. It was genuinely impressive to see how involved he was in helping his mother manage and maintain the property. Overall, I believe this apartment would be absolutely perfect in cooler weather, where you could fully enjoy the views, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings without the summer heat becoming a factor. A charming stay, wonderful hosts, and a fantastic location—just be mindful of the weather and bathroom setup when booking.

One thing future guests should consider is the season. We visited in mid-June, and surprisingly the temperatures were unusually high, reaching between 33–37°C. The apartment does not have air conditioning, which made it quite warm during our stay. There were also no mosquito nets on the windows, so keeping the windows open at night was the only way to cool the apartment down—but unfortunately, it also invited plenty of bugs in. It is essentially a three-bedroom apartment, which was spacious enough for our group. However, it only has one bathroom—which, in hindsight, was our oversight while booking. For a larger group of up to eight people, that can definitely become a logistical challenge. As expected with an Airbnb-type property, there is no housekeeping service, but that was not an issue for us since we spent most of our time out exploring the region.

The apartment is very clean, cozy and well maintained. It has a very spacious master bedroom as well as the other rooms. The kitchen is so clean, very modern with new appliances and complete with everything you might need. The view of the lake is so amazing!!

民宿很舒适干净，厨房工具齐全，风景很美，每天坐在厨房里吃早餐，窗外就是一幅画，非常舒服~房东姐姐人很好，虽然我们语言不通，但还是很热情用翻译介绍房间以及解答我们的问题。交通方面挺方便的，步行3分钟就有公交站可以坐去spiez。

الشقة عبارة عن الدور الاول كامل في بيت، مطلة إطلالة جميلة جدا على البحيرة والجبال المحيطة بها. نظيفة جدا جدا جدا. أنيقة ومرتبة. الشقة كلها خشب. ثلاث غرف نوم وصالة ومطبخ وحمام وفيها بلكونة جميلة جدا مع غرفة النوم الرئيسية وبلكونة كبيرة عند المدخل. الغرف واسعة وكل غرفة فيها سريرين وكل الغرف فيها مراوح علما بان تهوية البيت رائعة وتكفي. المطبخ مجهز بالكامل من كل شيء، كانك في بيتك الحقيقة. وفيه غسالة ملابس في الدور الأرضي مجهزة بكل احتياجات الغسيل والنشر والكوي . الشقة في الطرف الثاني من بحيرة ثورن وبعيدة تقريبا 20 دقيقة عن إنترلاكن. المضيفة (أناتوليا) إنسانة رائعة للغاية. موقف السيارة قدام الشقة. حوالين الشقة الكثير والكثير من المناظر والمناطق الطبيعية الساحرة. مركز المدينة بعيد حوالي 8 دقايق وفيه مطاعم وسوبرماركت وقعدات رايقة على النهر. لازم يكون معاك سيارة لتسهيل التنقل لان المنطقة ماهي منطقة سياح لكنها قريبة من كل شي. ابعد مشوار 20 دقيقة بالسيارة. بالنسبة لي كانت خيار رائع في كل شيء.

القطار .. القطار يمر قدام الشقة باستمرار. والله لولا هالقطار ما طلعت من الشقة طول فترة رحلتي في سويسرا.
