The property is perfect for those wishing to explore the beautiful Auvergne.

The gite has a delightful garden, secure parking and cycle storage.
St Germain nestles 1050 metres above sea level in the heart of the National forest and has glorious surrounding scenery with fantastic air quality. A perfect base to walk, cycle, tour or simply relax sip a glass or two and listen to the birds in the garden.
The forest is a must for those interested in fungi and is revered by mushroom gatherers.
This part of the Auvergne is also a delight for lovers of Cheese. forming part of the Internationally famous Route du Fromage. Fournols is only 10km away.
There are numerous activities in the area, lake swimming, canoeing, zip wire activity park, pony riding and the scenic railway to name but a few.
The imposing Chez Dieu monastery in near for those music lovers wishing to attend its internationally famous music festival in late August.
The beautiful towns of Issoire, Ambert and Brioude are only 20 km away. With Clermont, Puy en Velay and Thiers being in easy reach.
Transport is essential due to the rural location, however if required your host can collect you from the station in Issoire at a nominal charge.
