Chiado apartments

The apartment looked a lot better than on the photos, we were pleasantly surprised. It’s vintage but with taste, also everything feels very clean. The location is super nice, walking distance to almost everything. The room comes with towels, a fan and also coffee machine with pods :)

I really wanted to give this place a 10, but very soon when we came a cockroach appeared and kept appearing during the whole stay… i still think it’s worth the price.

The location and the space of the flat

There is no AC, only and old fan. So it was really warm during the day.

Location was great, it was just few minutes walk to Lisbon’s famous attraction

The apartment was quite cold during my stay and the heating was not working properly, which made it uncomfortable. What was more concerning for me was the noise and the way the apartment seemed to be divided. At one point I heard someone walking very close to me inside the apartment, which was quite scary at first. Later I realized that the original apartment had been divided into two separate units with a metal door between them, which meant that I could hear almost everything happening on the other side. Additionally, during the night I could hear loud voices and screaming from the neighboring apartment. As I was traveling solo, this made me feel very uncomfortable and uneasy. Because of this, I had difficulty sleeping and often felt alert during the night. Overall, the experience made me feel unsafe and affected my ability to rest properly during my stay.
