Krak-Inn Holbox - Pet Friendly

El alojamiento muy práctico si vienes llegando del ferry, hicimos check in “ automático “ fue un poco tardado ya que lo te registras en el teléfono y como fuimos 4 huéspedes te piden la identificación y la información completa por cada miembro lo que se me hizo mucho ya que normalmente solo si acaso se enseña una identificación! En cuarto fue muy básico pero cómodo y limpio! No hay como tal una recepción formar y el personal que me ayudó a mí desconocía muchas cosas! Sería mejor gente más capacitada. Un punto positivo fue que nos guardaron nuestras cosas después del check out.

Como la estructura es de madera por la noche se escucha el drenaje de las habitaciones de arriba y se escucha todo de los cuartos de alado, lamentablemente fue muy ruidoso por los vecinos que teníamos y mi familia no pudo dormir bien, creo que por el precio es mejor algo más céntrico, ya que está un poco lejos caminado del centro. La experiencia de la casita de madera fue linda pero si lo que buscas es pleno descanso no es la mejor opción.

The service was really not good. It’s a hotel, but they don’t have anyone working on site. Which may work fine for an Airbnb, but doesn’t work well at a hotel. We arrived to check in and at that point discovered there was no one in the lobby, and no information on how to contact them. It was at that point that I looked through my email and found that when they sent me a confirmation email when I had reserved, it had a link to fill out your passport information, at which point they will give you check in info. There was also no contact information to be able to send them a WhatsApp — luckily I was able to get that from another guest. While it’s my bad for not having realized that I needed to fill out this special form, hotels don’t normally operate like that, and I’m far from alone — the same thing happened to two other groups during our stay, and we had to give THEM the WhatsApp contact so they could get into their rooms. The worst though was that the only gave us one roll of toilet paper — again, a big problem if you’re not on site. On the last evening of our stay I asked for someone to come in the morning and refill it; the person on WhatsApp said they would said someone first thing in the morning. In the morning, no word, so I followed up at 8 am. The person said they would send someone within half an hour. An hour later, I followed up, still nothing. By the time we checked out at 11, still no toilet paper. Which is really the most basic thing a hotel should have. We had read reviews mentioning the lovely service and naming the people working there, but now it’s owned by a big company with properties all over Quintana Roo, so I’m guessing it was bought out and the service issues have ensued. I hope the put more care into it (and provide some employment to Holbox locals to actually staff the place).
