Our stay was for 4 nights, 5 days. The location was amazing! The apartment was very clean. The kitchen was fully appointed with all my needs. Loved being so close to the park.

We asked for shampoo and shower soaps and was told its not provided. We had 2.5 rolls of toliet paper, asked for more which was also not provided, had to buy our own. We had alot of difficulty with the shower. First, the water fluctuated to hot and cold quickly while showering. The shower drain was not really draining well which caused the shallow foot pan to overflow easily onto the bathroom floor. So, for 4 days, we had a wet bathroom floor, using our body towels as a mop. Its been happening for a while since the wall was peeling next to the shower. Extra towels for our stay were a extra charge, so we did our best without. We reported all concerns and requests to our host during our stay. Easy fixes. We did have someone ask for food, reaching his hand into our open window which had a iron window grill.

Very well appointed, ground floor apartment. Very tidy and well presented. Brand new LG electrical appliances. The bed had a foam matress and was comfortable. Very close to the marina and the centre of Cascais town. Loads of good restaurants and bars in easy walking distance. Lots of parking nearby (at a cost), including EV recharging points about 150m way. Please note: The coffee machine is a Continente own brand and the pods are only available from Continente supermarkets (see photos). The nearest Continente is Meu Super on the N247 about 15 min walk from the apartment. Failing that there's a Continente Hypermarket at Shopping Cascais.

This apartment was expensive. The location is good, but it is let down by a number of issues: There appears to be an intemediary; Headu(?) is the contact on Booking, but Rita Sousa is the apartment owner. I sent a message a week before and received no response, no instructions. We got arrived and sent a message; Rita then sent a screen shot of some instructions. She was quite difficult to get in touch with as her as she advised that her children and herself were ill. There was no welcome pack, contact details or instructions in the apartment. We've booked apartments & villas through Booking many times and 9 times out of 10 have had a pack with key contacts, etc. We were locked out on the 1st day after we'd been to get some shopping. Someone in another apartment had put the chain on the shared outer door. We were very lucky that one of the other owners arrived at the building at the same time as us to drop something off at another apartment and quickly sorted it out. The WiFi dropped out on an evening and was hit & miss during the day. Apparently, the router is in the neighbouring house and you jump on that. I have a 4G router for business use, so had to use that (at my own cost!!). We knew that there was no air-con, however the weather was nice, not too hot when we arrived (late September). It started raining at the end of our stay, and the humidity on a night was unbearable. The 2 x fans provided were cheap and their poor adjustment meant that they only pointed to the ceiling; the dehumidifier only blew warm air. No instructions provided. Because of the humidity caused by the rain and the sea-mist, clothing got damp and sticky, and wouldn't properly dry. Parking outside and around the park is free between 22:00 and 09:00, hence people used it for the marina and town centre. On a weekend it could be very noisy abiout midnight.
