It’s architecturally beautiful, very well decorated, and has all the right features.
It is remote and it’s not in the security estate so safety can be a concern.

One cannot fault the estate or the scenery. The house is extremely comfortable and every need is catered for. The fittings and furnishings are of exceptional quality and tasteful.
It would have been nice to receive some supplies for the first day, like wood and coffee capsules, dishwashing tablets (these were provided the next morning), especially considering the price range of the property. We've become used to these basics being provided. We found the lighting in the living areas inadequate, especially in the kitchen. We are foodies and it was difficult to cook and chop.

The house was very well kept and clean. It had all the amenities we like, especially in the kitchen. Each room was big enough for everybody and it was very comfortable and a pleasure to stay there. I love the fact that each bedroom was en suite and that it had a shower as well.
The only one problem was that we did not have electricity on Saturday night, the 2nd night there and did not come back on till we left Sunday and still no electricity. When we contacted the host, she said she will get back to us and she never did. There was no back up power. The host said that she was not allowed it on the Estate but in this day and age, especially in South Africa, you would need solar, or at least an inverter. Any form of backup power source would have helped.
