    The staff are very accommodating. Our initial stay is supposed to be on 11th of July but there was a typhoon holiday and we requested to have our stay moved to next day without additional charge, the hotel kindly allowed us. There are also free snacks you can grab at the lobby. The location is good because you’re at the heart of Ximending. Overall, it was a really good stay.

    I had a wonderful stay at Wonderwall Hostel in Ximending. I would especially like to commend the male receptionist who was on duty on July 4, 2026, at around 1:00 PM. After a long and tiring trip, he made the check-in process incredibly smooth. Since I had already booked through Agoda, everything was completed in just a few minutes. He was warm, welcoming, gave clear directions, and even invited me to rest in the comfortable reception area while waiting. (Was also able to eat my Xiao Long Bao wc I bought at Xin Fu Tang) The hostel exceeded my expectations. The bunk bed was clean, comfortable, and equipped with a thick comforter. Fresh, dry towels were provided daily, and the room was well air-conditioned. ( Though during that time the aircon has a minor-leaking issue) The shared bathroom and shower were spotless, with strong hot and cold water, free toiletries, and even a Dyson hair dryer. Overall, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hostel was clean, secure, well-lit, and in an excellent location in Ximending. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei.

    The hotel located on 9th floor of a very old building. Stay mostly by Filipino. No toiletries are given. We asked extra pillow with extra fee charged. Toilet bowl cannot throw toilet papers which will cause the jam due to very old toilet system of the building
