Antique Pearl Hotel

The first thing we noticed upon finding the hotel was how sketchy the entire thing looks. There is nothing marking the building as a hotel and the entrance is just a random door among many others in the street. Furthermore, the street itself is a ways back from the main road, to the extent that we witnessed two altercations beneath our windows in our four nights' stay there. Once we gained access to the hotel itself, the insides were beautiful, living up to the hotel's name with modern quality and antique design. Unfortunately, the isolation of the rooms is non-existent, and we woke up a few times expecting to see someone entering our room, when other guests would enter rooms beside or above ours. Finally, we saw no staff aside from the person who gave us the keys to both our room and the hotel itself on the day we arrived, telling us to always close the doors upon leaving the hotel, and carry the keys with us so we can unlock it upon return(the hotel, not the room). In essence, it's an Airbnb posing as a hotel.

The room was quiet and pleasant enough, but there was no one to greet me, no one to help me check in initially, the cleaning wasn't very good and the bathroom was so tiny it was hard to turn around in the shower.
