Casita Chiquita #1

Nice little property outside of town. Air conditioning worked really well. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Host Tony was kind and helpful and even let us pick fresh cherries and pomegranates and guavas on the property. You will need a rental car to stay here, but the beaches, shops, and everything you need is only an easy 15 drive from the peaceful place.

Great stay for the value.

The house was clean and well organized. The air conditioning was working properly.We enjoy the location to explore surrounding areas. We got to visit Ramey Bakery to buy some quesitos, got to play at Taino mini golf, explore Las Ruinas and spend some time at Crash Boat Beach.

This place could be a great place to stay with a few tweaks. 1) Hospitality: the place is difficult to find. Give written directions and do not rely on the pin from Google maps. 2) Kitchen: the kitchen had a frying pan with oil on the little stove from the previous tenant. There were not enough utensils; no forks, 1 spoon and 1 knife and 3 glasses. 3) Bathroom: No bathroom mat. He brought one when I asked for it. No hooks of any kind to hang towels or wet cloths (bathinsuit). The soap was an old and used bar of soap. The shower leaked, but the hot water was great. 4) Bedrooms: Storage is an issue. We had to keep our suitcases on the living room floor. It can be fixed with some hooks and shelves. The pillows in my room were stained and dirty. They smelled musty. There was no top sheet and only a blanket that was probably used by the previous tenant. The other bedroom had top sheets, bur no blanket. On my last night, I had to switch bedrooms because my bed was full of ants. The air conditioner was great. I traveled to Puerto Rico for a funeral and came to the property mostly to sleep. I would have liked a little more hospitality. With a few fixes and better Hospitality this properly could be great.
