The property was great and the home was very spacious. The neighborhood was very quiet. Most things are about a 20 minute drive. Communicating with the owner is very easy and fast to reply! Would stay again

The property was nice! The towels were still in the dryer when I got there, as well as a few left-out chores but other than that everything was nice!

The house was…fine. Broken blinds on the front door and dining area, an over grown lawn, and a dilapidated kitchen greeted our arrival. My message to the host prior to arrival regarding the coffee situation went unanswered. We searched high and low when we arrived and couldn’t find wash cloths, dishwasher pods, or enough bedding for the twin trundle. The second day of our two night stay the lawn, bedding, and dishwasher pods were addressed. We are giving this house three stars for poor guest readiness, mediocre host responsiveness, and shabbier-than-pictured interior (for example the kitchen fridge that is actually there is a slightly rusted out one from someone’s garage, the counters are cracked, several lights were burned out, including in the shower). It is also the kind of house where you need to plan to bring EVERY thing, down to a salt shaker, which is especially annoying when traveling by plane. It also has one of the more arduous check out lists. We are highly experienced VRBO users, and this just missed the mark in terms of meeting our family travel expectations of hospitality and guest readiness. That said, it does look like the kind of place where many an adults-only group has enjoyed an LSU sports spectating weekend, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this is likely great!
