The Moose Cabin sleeps 6 and offers a fun and cozy atmosphere with that rustic cabin charm. A queen size bed, cotton-soft bedding in the main floor bedroom is perfect to snuggle into after a day of hiking or exploring. There is also a queen size sofa sleeper, and queen bed in the Loft. The property has ample water supply which makes for a nice, hot shower at the end of the day. The kitchen comes well-equipped, and there is a gas grill on the covered deck. For relaxing at the cabin and eating in, there is a local, country grocery store in Fishtail 10 minutes from the cabin. There is a larger grocery store in Columbus about 30 minutes away.

Hike the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Area, Custer National Forest or the Beartooth Mountain Range. Perfect little cabin. We very much enjoyed our relaxing short stay, especially the fire pit, view and the friendly neighborhood dog. Further from the river than we had hoped, but still a lovely stay.

This was, by far, my favorite VRBO. Everything was perfect for my solo stay with my golden retriever. If you want to get away from the crowd and stay in an area of stunning scenery, this is your spot. Sit on the deck in the evening and watch the deer and the stars come out. Dark skies and mountain views will make you want to stay forever. I’m am hoping to get back here someday soon.
