Casa Mar on Kantouni Beach

The location was both good and bad. It was right on the beach such that we could hear the waves from inside the room. It was quiet, on its own bit of land and had a bar/coffee house next door.

It was pretty isolated. There were not many restaurants or bars around and the location itself was a long way from anywhere else. In reality you need a car or scooter to stay here - which is OK... but I wish it had been stated on the booking form. The area surrounding the property was quite unkempt. Wouldn't take much to fix it but was not to our taste. It is an old property with stone interior... it was quite dirty when we got there... lots of stone dust. Also the crockery and cutlery had not been properly washed. I am sure this was an oversight, but it contributed to our desire to leave the property early.
