Riad Anaïs

i love my room. they gave me room on the ground level and i love it (they offer upgrade to upper level at additional charge but i love my room better no thanks) The place is beautifully decorated Host, both the girl & the guy are very friendly and helpful (sorry im writing this weeks later i have forgotten both name) Theres a local hammam around the corner and its cheap with friendly locals (i was the only foreigner there) A LOT of breakfast for one person. all bread but its good! (but maybe some eggs please) the toiletries smells so good i like this part of medina.

its not accessible by car. taxi will drop you off at the nearest point and you have to navigate the small alleys (daunting for the first time but once youre familiar with the area its ok. same for other riad anyway) breakfast at rooftop so, stairs. this is a plus for me but just letting people know its a bit of walk to main square (but there are many other good eateries around this area. wont recommend going to jema el fina anyway its full of scammers) a bit gloomy cos the courtyard is small (but its also intimate and romantic)

Such a fantastic Riad to stay in when visiting Marrakech! I booked for 4 nights and loved it so much I extended another 3. The courtyard, rooms and terrace are all superb. When you first walk in it's like stepping into a relaxing, calm oasis. It's spacious, quiet and for me, the perfect accommodation to retreat to when after enjoying the bustle of Marrakech. The Riad is in northern Medina so you have Souks and cafes right on your doorstep. It's down a twisty alleyway but is easy to find and safe at night. The beds are comfortable and facilities all great. Breakfasts are incredible; crepes, omlettes, honey cake, coffee and fruit. And the view from the terrace in the evening is wonderful. I did several tours when there, and every tour van was able to easily pick me up from 'College Mohamed 5' which is a 2 min walk from the Riad, so it worked perfectly. Big thanks to team for such a warm welcome and top tier service my entire stay; Tarak, Leila & Simo. Had great conversations with them, they generously shared plenty of local recommendations, and I learned a lot about local life. Do yourself a favour and choose Riad Anais for your next visit to Marrakech!

La amabilidad del personal. Un riad 100% auténtico. Bastante limpio y con camas cómodas. Muy buena ubicación para la zona de la medina. Muy recomendable

Teniendo 3 noches contratadas, el día antes de llegar nos dijeron que tenían un problema de alojamiento para la primera noche y que reservásemos en otro riad de al lado para esa primera noche, el cual era de inferior categoría.

The location of the riad was great — it’s close to the main road, which makes it much easier to access compared to many other riads in the Medina. We really appreciated not having to walk a long distance with heavy luggage. However, the rooms were quite run down and lacked basic equipment. They were also very small, so if you’re sharing with another person, it can feel a bit cramped. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned very well and we noticed a few small bugs, which was disappointing. The overall lighting in both the room and bathroom was quite poor, which made it difficult to get ready comfortably. On a positive note, breakfast on the rooftop was lovely. It was served fresh every morning and included a nice variety of pastries, breads, and jams — a great way to start the day. One of the highlights was that it was my friend’s birthday during our stay, and the lady who prepared breakfast surprised her with a homemade birthday cake. That personal gesture was very sweet and genuinely appreciated. Overall, while the staff was kind and attentive, the property itself didn’t feel like good value for money compared to other riads we stayed at in Marrakesh that offered a higher standard of comfort and cleanliness.
