About this house rental
This recently updated 4 Bed 1 Bath home sits in the heart of the Deer Lodge Valley. This home is within walking distance to Museums, Historic Montana State Prison Ghost Tours, Cutler Brothers Theatre, Grant Kohrs Ranch & Grocery store. It is an easy drive to Philipsburg, Discovery Ski Area, Butte & just 25 minutes to Fairmont Hot Springs. This is also a great stopping point between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks.
The space
Our home offers comfort and privacy for groups that may need a little space. The kitchen is fully furnished if you would like to cook in. The living area is equipped with a large cozy couch and INTERNET TV with Netflix and Hulu or feel free to log in to your own Accounts and continue watching your favorite shows.

The entire home is available to our guests along with garage access for storage if needed.
Other things to note
There is plenty of street parking, alley parking and a spot in front of the garage. You could easily park 4-6 cars around the home for larger groups or if you happen to be towing.

The couch is wonderful. I spent four hours my first evening there writing reports. I was a little worried about parking out front with my big truck, but it's a small town, and everyone else on the block was fine with it, so I parked out front. Only a block off Main Street, but very quiet. Loved the old doors with glass knobs. Just a homey little old house that reminded me of my grans place.I used it for business and did a couple of interviews in the living room. So relaxing, the young ladies seemed to be at ease in a family type setting.This place is not handicapped friendly so I will only book it again if I'm traveling alone. I usually have a friend with me. Glad she couldn't make it this time as she would have had a difficult time using the bathroom. You can not get a walker between the tub/shower and washer safely.

I love where the property was located, and the house itself has plenty of private and public spaces for those who feel like being social and those who need a break from people. The upstairs is not a safe spot for little children, however, and I would say elementary age up is OK. The stairs are steep and slippery. But it worked out for our family since we were mostly adults and the little one just slept downstairs. I would go back we as were comfortable and we were able to do everything we needed. I was especially impressed by how well stocked the house was and they pretty much have everything you need. We are already considering going back to the same place next year and we never imagined we would since it’s such a small town.
