About this house rental
Four bedroom, two bath log home style with scenic views of beautiful island pond and mountains behind. You can view these sites from three of the four bedrooms and in the living room. Relax on a the covered deck while you sip your morning coffee and watch the loons sing or watch the family of ducks swim by. If you are lucky enough you may even get a glimpse of a bald eagle. This home is just minutes away from the VAST trail or during the summer you can zip along the ATV trails as well. We are five minutes from town on the otherside of the pond just by state beach. You can attend the states beach or enjoy this properties small beach and dock. Very private property with no neighbors on either side!!

Me and my friends and family have been traveling to Island Pond for the annual memorial Day mountain bike/canoe trip for 10 years plus. This year our crew was a few more than usual, forcing us to find a new rental. We could not be happier with our choice as Amy’s property was a perfect homebase for us. The home was super clean, equipped with all we could need for a successful stay and the location was unbeatable. The views were so beautiful and the only thing that could’ve made our stay better would’ve been some extra sun to truly enjoy the property’s lake access. We look forward to our stay next year!

The house was clean and cozy. The owner answered all of our questions quickly. We were visiting family in IP and this was a great place for us to stay each night while we visited.

We all had a good week. It's a grand view of Island Pond. That said we had only a few issues with the stay. Shades that fell out of the holders or had no self wind up in them. So we had to find other ways to darken the room. Biggest issue we had was the odor septic or decaying rodent smell that overtook the entire house when the heat came on. There was always some of this odor occuring when the house was closed up.
