Summary:
Cozy 3BR house located in downtown Ithaca. Offstreet parking. Spacious yard. Easy walking distance to the Farmers Market, Purity Ice Cream, and to the Commons. Fully equipped kitchen, dining room and den. On site amenities include: WiFi, two computers, washer/dryer, oven, cooking gear, full sized fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, fresh towels and linens. Perfect for familes, students and larger groups for extended stays.
The Space:
Located across the street from the Quaker meeting house, this property is one of the few in the area with a huge backyard. Perfect for family barbeques. Can comfortably lodge up to five people, 408 Madison has all the amenities, including great WiFi and a computer. A fully equipped kitchen saves on dining costs, and makes for a "homely" atmosphere. Having a washer/drier on site is convenient for longer term stays, and saves a trip to the laundromat.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole house and the yard, nobody else will be living in the same dwelling. The neighbors are very friendly. No part of the house is "restricted" or anything like that.
The Neighborhood:
Ideally located, this house is just a five to ten minute walk from the Ithaca Farmers Market, and a ten to 15 minute walk to the commons. A convenience store and bowling alley are just a block away, as is a discount grocery store. A beautiful, child-friendly park is less than a block away and tons of restaurants are nearby.
Getting Around:
Multiple bus routes are just one or two blocks away.

Great cozy clean house in a nice neighborhood. But close to everything.

The house is in an excellent location, the surfaces were clean, and there are many considerate touches such as plenty of tables and chairs, extra blankets, an air conditioner and fan in every bedroom. However, much of the house is cluttered. There is very expired and open food in the refrigerator and pantry and at least 10 bottles of open shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Both rooms are also completely full with other assorted clutter and used items so that there is no room to put anything you bring. Also, bring your own bed pillows.
