The home sits in the West Town area, about four miles west of Downtown Chicago, blending historic residential charm with the energy of a central neighborhood. The streets around here are generally walkable and lined with a mix of older homes and renovated spaces, and you’re within easy reach of local parks like Smith Park and a broad variety of restaurants, cafés, bars, and shops that help give the area a lively, urban feel. Locals describe West Town as culturally diverse and active—with plenty of dog walkers, joggers, and neighbors out and about—and though some pockets near major intersections can feel busier and safety perceptions vary block by block, most residents enjoy the convenience of public transit options and proximity to vibrant hubs like Ukrainian Village, Wicker Park, and the West Loop.

The facility was located in a safe quiet neighborhood. The place was clean and modern. Communication with the host was excellent!! We certainly would stay there again!!

The place was really nice for us to stay with three couples and a friend. The bathroom and kitchen amenities were nice and it was great to have a washer and dryer.
The neighborhood was quiet and there was a coffee shop, bakery, and park within walking distance. It was just a short drive to get to the loop and it was close walking distance from a bus stop.
It wasn’t a problem for us just using our cellphones, but the wifi strength was a little slow if you needed streaming or work using zoom.
Having free street parking close by was incredibly nice and we never had an issue finding a spot. The check-in and check-out process were simple and smooth.
I would have loved additional seating in the living room as it really only sits four comfortably, but it sleeps more than four. Some of us sat on the cement bench by the fireplace which would have been nice with some sort of cushion option.
