About this villa rental
We are located on the south shore; will feel like you are in a private neighborhood yet you are only a short 12-15 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Roatan. The beach has great restaurants, night life, snorkeling, a few small grocery stores and water taxis to other parts of the island. This newer villa has an elevated rustic style. There are abundant windows (even the bedrooms have 4 windows), so the views of the surrounding tropical trees are quite special. All the natural light and 22 foot wood ceilings provide a feeling of casual splendor. The floors in the main living area are Honduran pine and the bathrooms with walk in showers are tile; the vanity tops are granite and the curb-less showers are tiled all the way up to the wood vaulted ceilings which provides a spa feeling. The kitchen has a bounteous granite island that seats seven. The cook will never feel left out in this space since it's a totally open concept. The kitchen is fully stocked and with over 18 linear feet of granite counter space; everyone can have their own work space when preparing a group dinner. The 320 square foot deck faces the Caribbean sea (there is a large new construction project directly across the street which will be completed in the summer of 2027). On the deck is a custom made dining table that seats 8; a perfect opportunity to enjoy the tepid temperatures and watch the cruise ships depart for the next port. All the beds are memory foam and lifted so you can store your suitcases underneath and keep them out of the way. There are three TV's; a 68 inch smart TV in the main living area and each bedroom has a 43 inch mounted TV. There are AC's in all living spaces including the loft that sleeps 4.

A wonderful gem on the great island of Roatan. We had a lovely month at our rental. The house was well stocked with everything from a kitchen aid mixer to many left over bug repellent and sunblock. Lynn truly thought of everything. We knew going in there was a “ Construction “ project going on across the street but did not understand the magnitude of this 4 level condo being built. Lynn was great and trying to help relocate us but due to high peak season we were unsuccessful finding anything. We decided to stay and Lynn did give us a refund which was much appreciated. This by all means not her fault. This was located perfectly to restaurants and beaches. You need a car if you plan to explore and see the sights. Truly would recommend this place. The pool was great and cleaned every day. Lynn was a considerate host. Thank you

Great view of the ocean. Could see sunrise from the deck. Short walk to the spot for sunsets. Easy walk over to the west bay beach area, diving and snorkeling. House was stations, clean, easy to use areas, great large central island in the kitchen to socialize. Can’t describe the feeling of the breeze while relaxing g on the deck in the middle of those short tropical rains. We will likely return and for a longer stay. Best dining is at crazy beans.

No beach immediately accessible, but short walk/drive to get to beaches (mostly private, requiring some sort of access fee, but reasonable). Stairs into sea nearby for snorkelling (deep water). Very modern and new house. Kitchen amenities were adequate but alot of plastic (glasses, plates, cooking utensils). No dining table inside: stools around the island. Apply bug spray before using the dining table outside.

Right after we reserved the house Lynn, the home owner, was in contact with us giving us guidance to all things Roatan as this was our first time there. She was available by phone or text throughout the stay. The home is clean and beautiful. The beds are comfortable. The pool was great to help cool off in the evenings after exploring the island. The kitchen was great to cook in, lots of space and plenty of cookware. If you are mindful of your electric usage, turning the AC off when you are not there during the day, turning lights off that aren't needed, etc the bill wasn't that bad. They are building next door (and really the island is growing with construction all over) but they don't come before 8am and we were all up by then to do the days activities. We felt very safe in the neighborhood.There's a path leading to a boardwalk by the house where you can get some great family pictures. I would recommend bringing some of your favorite games because it's dark by 630pm and not much to do besides hang out at the restaurants/bars. Overall, I highly recommend staying at No Bad Days!
