Situated right at the foot of Tecklenburg, surrounded by stunning countryside and green meadows with a direct view of the state forest, lies the historic DRIEHOF Country Estate, where we extend our warmest welcome to you.
The DRIEHOF looks back on a long, historic past. As one of the oldest and largest farms of its time, it continues to shape the landscape of the Tecklenburg region to this day and ranks among the most beautiful farms in the Münsterland.
TRADITIONS remain a top priority at the DRIEHOF to this day. The farm has been family-owned for 100 years now and remains the family seat of an old Osnabrück industrialist family in its fourth generation, with the fifth generation currently growing up on the farm.
After 100 years, the DRIEHOF is opening its doors and inviting you to visit. Across from the main house, in a natural and idyllic park setting featuring a spacious fish pond, stand the outbuildings, which were still used for agricultural purposes at the time. We offer you stylish, modern accommodations in the form of 9 apartments and suites. Another suite is located in the main house.
We provide free parking, so arriving here is easy and comfortable.
At the DRIEHOF, time seems to lose its significance. Experience the harmony between history and an upscale atmosphere. It’s up to you to turn back the clock and surrender yourself entirely to relaxation, leisure, and the lovely surroundings. Or take advantage of the numerous hiking and biking trails around the farm to keep your body and mind in balance. Lifestyle Comfort Apartment (Apt. 7):
Here you’ll find a modern, stylishly furnished hotel apartment of approximately 35 square meters, operated as part of the hotel, featuring its own terrace and air conditioning. Daily housekeeping is included in the price.
The apartment features a living/dining area with a small open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, dishes, etc. Adjacent to the kitchen is a table that seats 3 people. You’ll also find a small, cozy sofa. The sofa is 1.40 m wide and makes a great sleeper sofa for one person, as it comes with a mattress. There’s also a small armchair for cozy reading sessions. Across from it is the double bed, where you can sleep wonderfully. A TV is, of course, also available. It visually separates the sleeping area from the sofa area with a small room divider and can be swiveled to either side. The living area is flooded with light thanks to large windows. In the evening, the living area can be darkened with opaque, light-blocking curtains.
The apartment also features a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The shower is equipped with a Raindance showerhead for a wonderful showering experience. Furthermore, it is designed as a daylight bathroom, meaning it has a window and no artificial ventilation systems.
From the living area, you have direct access to your own spacious sun terrace with a magnificent view of the park and the nature reserve. Thanks to its south-facing orientation, you’ll enjoy sunlight until the evening. The terrace is furnished with high-quality outdoor furniture from the Kartell brand. A table with four chairs allows you to enjoy your morning coffee or a delicious breakfast while taking in the magnificent view. Or, on balmy summer evenings, you can savor a glass of wine with a tasty meal. You’ll also find a comfortable sun lounger and a parasol. Each apartment is additionally equipped with a portable LED outdoor light from Sompex. It provides light for 2 days and can be taken outside by our guests, ensuring cozy lighting at the outdoor table even after dark. If the light starts to dim, you can simply recharge it in the apartment.
True to their name, the LifeStyle Classic Apartments are designed to reflect today’s lifestyle combined with a smart living space solution. Since we operate as a hotel, our apartments are fully equipped. You don’t need to bring anything with you. Towels, made-up beds, shower gel, toilet paper, etc., are provided.
A panoramic sauna is available for your use in the outdoor area. You do not need to reserve the sauna in advance. Due to rising energy costs, there is a one-time fee of €15 (including tax) per person for sauna use during your stay. Upon
