We just love this little cabin in the woods. This was our second time staying and the improvements just made it that much better. Our dog Sadie loved to be able to run in the big yard. And the Klondikes in the freezer were the ice cream on the cake. Thank you!!!

This was a perfect, quiet retreat. Close to family, restaurant, stores and parks. I loved the nature and the privacy. I loved that I didn't really need to get too much at the store as the owner's supplied water, snacks and toiletries. I also appreciated that the owner's checked in on you to be sure everything was going ok & offered any assistance if needed. I would definitely stay again at the perfect secret cabin in the woods.

After being turned down by several Vrbo homeowners who advertised "pet friendly" but did not accept cats, this homeowner accepted my cat and me without question. Her directions to the property were spot on and I walked into a cabin far more ready for a guest than I would have imagined. She even left a packet of treats for my cat as well as some yummy ice cream sandwiches in the freezer for me. Although it was stated several times that the taste and smell of the well water could be off-putting, the water was perfectly normal for my entire stay. However, the homeowner also provided bottled water just in case. The TV reception was spotty due to spotty internet in the woods but that didn't spoil my stay. There were at least 100 DVDs in the bookcase if I had chosen to watch them instead. Sitting on the deck at the end of the day, listening to the chirping of birds ending their day, watching the sun dip below the horizon while I sipped a glass of wine, then heading for a comfy bed to cuddle with my cat and watch the fireflys light up outside the window -- it just can't get any better. Oh yes, my elderly cat was a very considerate guest -- so much so that the homeowner refunded my entire pet deposit. This host and accommodation are definitely FIVE STARS in my book and I will be a repeat guest for sure.
