Newly built vacation home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large garden, a sun terrace, and a sauna in the garden on the edge of the Üselitzer Wiek Nature Reserve.
Far away from the massive hotel complexes and typical beach resorts, you can experience the island of Rügen in its unspoiled and natural state. Located in the heart of the European Bird Sanctuary, you’ll have the opportunity to observe rare and protected bird species (cormorants, cranes, gray herons, gray geese, white-tailed eagles, and many more) as they rest and nest. The surroundings offer peace and seclusion, ensuring a relaxing vacation. The Üselitzer Wiek is just 250 meters away.
Rügen is an island surrounded by the Baltic Sea. This island is also characterized by its large boddens and distinctive coastline. Not far from the Edith vacation home, for example, is Palmers Ort, a magnificent beach that remains relatively unspoiled—even in the height of summer. Those who prefer a livelier atmosphere will find Binz and/or Göhren to be ideal destinations.
A wide variety of recreational activities are easily accessible from the Edith thatched-roof house: the Sellin diving gondola, the Rasender Roland beach railway, the Sellin water park, and the Hansedom water park in Strahlsund, the Prora and Altefähr climbing parks, the Prora treetop trail, the Jasmund Nature Heritage Center, the Maritime Museum, and the Ozeaneum in Stralsund.

Near Mellnitz, at the Gleiwitz-Stahlbrode ferry, you can rent boats. The Kranitz Castle golf course is just a few minutes’ drive from Mellnitz. Rügen has wonderful bike paths, and it’s really fun to explore the island and its natural beauty this way. Of course, anglers will also find a paradise on Rügen. In numerous coastal towns, there are boat tours that take you to the best fishing spots.

Newly built, comfortable vacation home with a thatched roof, featuring a large living-dining area, an open-concept kitchen, a wood-burning stove, 3 bedrooms for a total of 6 people, 2 bathrooms (each with a walk-in shower), a large property (approx. 1,000 m²), a large terrace, a gas grill, a garden shed with a sauna, and a beach chair.
In addition to the high-quality, fully equipped kitchen, there is also a washer/dryer in the utility room. A travel crib, high chair, and children’s toys are provided.
Two bicycles—each a 28-inch model with gears—are also available; they are not included in the rental agreement but may be used. Guests must ensure they are roadworthy before use.
Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and check-out is from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
