Check in was a breeze. Few items needed to be addressed most were taken care of right away. I did not realize we were directly by the road creating car noise for front bedrooms. Main level front bedroom the bed was hard and the frame was squeaky. Their bedroom bath was in the hall and does not lock. We created a sign to place by the door when in use. My grandkids were disappointed to find no TV in the upstairs game room (was out of order). Overall the house was very well stocked and decorated. We loved the outside seating, fire pit and all the paddle boards canoe and kayak to use along with plenty of water sand toys. Appreciated the assortment of life jackets. The Wine and coffee were a nice touch to welcome us. Thank You for allowing us to use your home.

First of all our entire group had a wonderful time at this lovely property. The manager, Katy, was outstanding and was very responsive to our needs. We did have two suggestions that might improve the stay. Our group included some elderly adults with balance and walking issues. The backyard had some lovely but for seniors challenging natural stones steps that were hard to navigate. Handrails would be helpful. Also the back patio would have been improved with a screened area to control the fruit flies. Overall this was an excellent experience for our family.

We had a wonderful time and home was beautiful. We went to Fishtown, The Cove, lLittle Traverse Inn ( across the street) and several wineries. The lake was peaceful and nice location.

Out stay: 7 adults, 3 kids Jun30-Jul 6, for 22,277. The owners clearly invest effort in creating a welcoming environment—plenty of life jackets for all sizes, a variety of water toys, and ample plastic plates and utensils for children. Owners were highly responsive to issues, promptly addressing problems with faucets and a malfunctioning lock. However, travelers expecting luxury for the price should recalibrate expectations. While the listing photos are attractive, the property's not quite luxury and needs a thorough handyman inspection. There were numerous small maintenance issues: refrigerator door seal needs attention preventing closure, screws fell from the range hood while cooking, luggage racks missing screws and unusable, patio cushions too thin to be comfortable, lightbulbs out, etcThe most significant disappointment was the non-functioning projector. Despite several attempts by the owners to fix it—including professional visits—it was never operational, leaving only one room available for our group to watch movies in the evenings. This was challenging for a large family group with both children and adults wanting separate entertainment. No compensation was offered for this inconvenience.Overall, this is a good house for a lakeside stay across from a nice pub. With some attention to normal maintenance it will be a good house to rent. For the price point, future guests may reasonably expect better ongoing maintenance and amenities in full working order.
