About this apartment rental

Located in Rome, this welcoming apartment lets you experience it all. Your feet will make short work of the 3-minute walk to Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere or the 12-minute walk to Campo de' Fiori. Check out other neighborhoods and see more of Rome by hopping on a metro at either Trastevere/Mastai Tram Stop or Induno Tram Stop, both just 5 minutes away by foot.

This 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom rental features a dining area and air conditioning. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, towels, and toilet paper. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchen, complete with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and cookware. And because there's access to laundry facilities, you can go a bit lighter on your packing. Other amenities include bed sheets, an ironing board, heating, and a dining table.

Overall we loved our experience. I was a bit nervous with no reviews, as this must be a new unit. There are a few things that were challenging, which I’ll explain for the best experience for upcoming travelers, but overall if you have a big family, this place is phenomenal. The first thing is the amazingly beautiful and historic staircase. There are 72 steps to climb to the apartment, if you do not have mobility issues just take it on as a challenge and a way to overcome all the delicious food you’ll eat in Trastevere. The spiral staircase is stunning, and it was great for photos of my daughter in her wedding dress before the beautiful wedding at the Basilica of Santa Maria. Stairs are part of the Rome experience, just go with it!The biggest challenge we had was the lack of sets of keys. We started with only one, then the host brought us another, but our group broke into 3-4 groups each day, and quite frankly we had several terrible issues without access to the apartment. We never made it back to the Roman forum because if this, and I’m still really sad about my family missing one of the best things in Roma. So please be prepared logistically for this situation. The apartment itself is quite charming, but if you’re American, the washing machine is not operable without guidance. We do not have this type of machine in America, and there is not a dryer, so you’ll need to plan ahead on washing. Also, Italians do not go through towels like we do, so please pack some extras!

Apartment has 4 spacious bedrooms and a large kitchen area. It is a 3 flight walk up with suitcases but we managed. Host is not responsive. Never met her but typical response time is 2-4 hours. Had an issue with the washing machine and she was quick in her response time indicating that it was 100% my fault when in fact the lid was simply stuck. Apartment had good size beds, clean bedding and neat appearance. Bathrooms could be cleaned better and black mold spores removed around window and ceiling.
