About this apartment rental
Located on the second floor of a 19th century building with no elevator, this accommodation is recommended for friends traveling together or a young family with children who want to be in the middle of the action. Please note that we manage another apartment in the same building, on the third floor, which makes this an ideal solution for members of the same family who want to be close to each other but still have their privacy.
This one-bedroom apartment actually sleeps up to four people: two in the master bedroom and two on the living/dining room sofa bed, which doubles as a comfortable queen-size bed.
The hardwood floors and selected furnishings are a nod to the history of the building and the area, but this accommodation is rooted in modernity: the kitchenette allows you to cook simple meals from scratch and has all the basics for your stay. The washing machine (no drying) has been installed to allow guests to be independent during their travels, and the bathroom has been recently renovated and features a walk-in shower.
This property comes with independent heating, has an A/C system, and a free Wifi connection is offered to all guests. A TV set with local channels is available in the living room.
Outside, Rome and its wonders await - the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Barberini, the Spanish Steps or museums such as Palazzo Barberini, the Capuchin Crypt or Palazzo Poli are all within walking distance, as are Via del Tritone (one of the city's main shopping areas) or Via del Corso. Restaurants, family-run shops, cafes and picturesque alleys are everywhere: are you ready to fall in love with the Eternal City?

Accommodations meet expectations and were easily in walking distance to several activities. Host was easy to connect with. It is slightly loud being on the back street to a restaurant but it was also expected.

It can be scary sometimes to check into an unknown place. There team at Home to Rome was so on top of everything we could relax and drink great wine and eat fantastic food. The restaurant across the street is fantastic too. If you are considering this apartment you will not be disappointed. Ken Rose and Damien De Cost April 27 2026 to May 1 2026. 5 STARS!!!!!!!!!!

Simple apartment in the heart of Rome. Such a great location -- close to restaurants, grocery store, shops, Metro, bus stops, taxi stops. Small apartment, but very nicely done. Host was helpful and available when needed. Highly Recommend.

The location and apartment is great. The main issue we faced was that the AC in the main living room area seemed to be broken. We reached out to the property manager who came to the apartment and advised that the unit was working properly and left us a small fan to help cool the apartment. The temperature in the apartment was 28C (~82F) even though the unit was set to 17C(~62F). Unfortunately that is a HUGE issue in the summer time. We probably wouldn't stay in this unit again given the issues with maintenance which is such a shame because the apartment and location were great! It may not be a huge issue in the winter but summer/spring its unbearable.
