About this house rental
Come stay with on the Yellowstone River next time you find yourself in Big Sky Country! This Yellowstone River Retreat has 5 bedrooms, and 2 handicap accessible bathrooms, and measures up at over 4,300 sqft.
Everyone is sure to have a memorable experience, with handicap access to a few small islands in the middle of the Yellowstone River, a large 1/2 acre yard, a beautifully manicured setting with an aspen grove, and views of the Crazy Mountains and the Absaroka Mountains and Beartooth Plateau.
This is a private home in a quiet subdivision just outside of Big Timber, Montana. It is about 1/2 between Bozeman and Billings along Interstate 90. This puts it in an ideal location for some of the most amazing outdoor adventure in the world. There are views to the south east towards the Beartooth Plateau, and to the west you will see the Crazy Mountains.
The home itself has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths on the first floor, with three additional bedrooms in the basement. Both of the bathrooms are handicap accessible. The master bath features a jacuzzi, and picture window.
Inside, you will find the parlor with some board games, and a gaming table besides the kitchen and living room. The upstairs living room SmartTV is ideal for streaming your favorite platforms. Feel free to peruse the books, and tie some flies in the library, or just relax out back and listen to the Yellowstone River flow by.
The yard is large enough to play lawn games, there is direct access to the Yellowstone River from a back gate (please abide to the house rules!). There is also a handicap accessible park, just up the street, with a road down to a few small islands in the River.

Guests must use caution around the Yellowstone River, whether at the Park down the street, or by accessing it off of the property. This is a wild undammed River.

It was clean and fun. We had a blast in the rural area and enjoyed big timber.

Great views. Barbecue in the backyard, coffee with the ladies on the back deck, fishing for the men, ping-pong in the basement, corn hole on the side yard. Plenty of seating, the kitchen was well laid out, and there was plenty of room for all of us to move around.

The property location was beautiful and the yard was amazing. The upstairs was nice with lots of room to spread out and the kitchen was nice. The property’s water pump went out on one day but once we figured out who to contact they were able to get it up and running in about 6 hours so that was very inconvenient having to leave the property to go into town to use the facilities with two toddlers. I do understand it was not their fault however it would have been nice if they gave us a partial refund for a day. Over all a nice place with a beautiful view.
