Welcome to the Cottage on Maple! This stylish and updated mid-century cottage is a short walk from Historic Marietta Square, 5 minutes by car to Kennesaw Mountain, 15 to The Battery (Go Braves!), and 25 to downtown Atlanta.
Nestled in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, the Cottage remains full of character and charm. Come celebrate with family under the string lights of the private back patio or enjoy some solitude on the screened porch with the morning sunrise & coffee as your companions.
INTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS//
**Flowing and spacious floor plan with two large bedrooms accommodating up to 5 guests.
**Each bedroom has 1 queen bed/mattress. Upon special request, 1 additional twin bed/mattress can be added to a bedroom for groups of 5.
**Well equipped kitchen to accommodate cooking needs (oil and basic spices provided)
**Two smart TV's, one in the living room and one in bedroom.
**Fast and reliable AT&T Fiber wifi
**Mudroom + washer/dryer (detergent pods provided)
**Keurig coffee station (jar of Starbucks pods provided to get you started on your stay)
**Tankless water heater providing unlimited hot water
**Victrola Bluetooth Speaker
**Dohm white noise devices in each bedroom

**Flat front yard for kicking the soccer ball around or giving a try at bocce ball (set provided)

**Bicycles provided upon request (4 adult size, 1 tween size)
**Pickleball paddles/balls provided upon request
Parking and access to the cottage is simple and efficient. A smartlock is located on the screened porch entry and with an access code being provided prior to arrival.
The property hosts, Jake & Emily, live next door to the cottage in the white house with the blue door. We fully embrace and respect the privacy and independence that most guests prefer, but are always happy to answer any questions during your stay should the need arise.
Maple Avenue is a quiet, safe, & family-friendly neighborhood known for its charm and access to the best of Marietta Square and to Atlanta. Within a short walk you can enjoy all the Square has to offer. Additionally, the cottage is only a 5 minute drive to the renown hikes of Kennesaw Mountain making it the perfect stay for nature lovers and fitness enthusiasts.
An extensive guide book is provided that details favorite local restaurants, shops, neighborhood walks, and more.
Situated nearby to Interstate 75, guests can be at The Battery (go Braves!) in about 15 minutes and downtown Atlanta in about 25 minutes.
The cottage has a designated paved driveway, so parking is a breeze. All streets in the neighborhood are well lit and with sidewalks, so going for a stroll or jog is easy and enjoyable.
We love our town and all that it has to offer and we hope you will take advantage during your stay. To nudge our guests in that direction, we provide each stay with a gift card to Tuesday Coffee & Shoppe on Marietta Square. Pet policy/rules:
We love pups and our desire to keep The Cottage listed as a pet-friendly stay. Following these policies will help us remain a pet-friendly option for other pup-loving travelers...
- Only dogs are permitted (no cats or other pets)
- Only one dog permitted (contact host for special requests or circumstances beyond one dog)
- Dog may not be left unattended
- Dog is not permitted on any furniture or beds. Dog must sleep/nap on the floor or in a crate you provide
- Guest must properly dispose of dog waste by placing tied off baggies in the outside trashcan
- If excessive shedding occurs, please help out by doing a preliminary sweep or vacuum before leaving.

Great property in a perfect location. The house is exactly as pictured, but the yard and neighborhood are better than I expected.

My daughter and I traveled to the area for a sporting event. We enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage. We felt very safe. The place was super clean and Jake was an exceptional host. I would recommend the home to anyone traveling to the area.

We loved staying in the cottage. I selected the house due to its location close to Marietta Square in hopes that we would be able to walk to the square. It did not disappoint. We walked back and forth multiple times. Always felt safe even at night. Jake made us feel very welcome during our stay and was prompt and helpful answering any questions I had. The backyard is beautiful. Be sure to check out the Koi pond! Would definitely stay here again!
