About this house rental
Located in the district of East Algoma - in the town of Iron Bridge, Ontario, Cliff's Place is a one-of-a-kind vacation retreat. The house boasts a designer kitchen, a beautiful view from the living room window of the Mississagi River, comfortable furnishings (all on one floor), and a fully landscaped 0.75-acre lot, complete with both a Berry Garden and an Orchard.
The property is located halfway between the towns of Thessalon and Blind River, Ontario half a kilometer off Highway 17, and is ideally situated for day trips into the Cities of Sault Ste. Marie, and Sudbury, ON. The Aces Restaurant is about a fifteen-minute walk from the house (you must cross the bridge), and boasts some of the best Chinese Cuisine in the region. The Red Top Restaurant offers many vegetarian choices on their menu.
Basic amenities are provided in the kitchen - complimentary frozen fresh berries from the garden, 1 Liter of 2% milk, 6 farm fresh eggs, and a loaf of bread, homemade preserves, and a 375 g rasher of Bacon (if Vegetarian, please confirm and we will omit the Bacon and/or Milk/Eggs). The cupboards are stocked with basic staples. All we ask is if you use a bag or two of these staples, please consider replacing what you've used; take a little, give a little!
We also offer cable dish television, Wifi Internet Access, and Movies on DVD and VHS. Also provided are classic board games; Crokinole, Cribbage, Dominoes, Scrabble, and KerPlunk. There are two security cameras in the kitchen; one directed at the front door, and another directed at the side yard. The other security cameras are located in the Homeowner’s private storage room.
Check-in is after 15:30, and check-out is by 11:00 am. Come and discover all that East Algoma, Ontario has to offer including fishing, hunting, swimming, river tubing, golfing, local farmer’s markets - and so much more! The minimum stay at our property is 4 days, and longer stays are also negotiable with the Homeowners/Hosts.

This house is ideal for a quiet getaway. The kitchen was roomy, well equipped and everything worked well. Not many restaurants close by so the ability to cook was essential. Even has a slow cooker, allowing us to explore all day and have friends over for dinner. Owner was immediately responsive to my question when the internet briefly went out. A beautiful back yard, complete with a bird sanctuary, made for a peaceful, enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil you needed. The deck outside was lovely to sit on with all of the beautiful flowers and plants. Thanks for a good stay. Wonderful home away from home.
