Big Oak Lodge- 3 miles from Lake Chickamauga & Chester Frost Park. Boat trailers welcome. Sleeps 8 guests, 4 beds/1.5 baths +full shower in laundry room, large recreation/game room with air hockey, foosball, XBox, and games; fire pit with nighttime lighting, Adirondack chairs, and complimentary firewood; gas grill; covered deck with rocking chairs; walking track and outdoor basketball across street (we provide the balls); walk to Food City grocery store, 7 restaurants, smoothie shop, and nail salon. Beautiful view of Signal and Mowbray Mountains from the front porch.

My son and I booked the Big Oak Lodge as we were fishing in the Chickamauga tournament. The location was perfect with a grocery store, gas station, and restaurants nearby. Everything was clean and well kept. The neighborhood was quiet. I wish we could have enjoyed the awesome fire pit! Grill fired right up. Tanna checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Would definitely book this house again!

Very close to several fast food places and a Dollar General; we visited the aquarium and the zoo - not too far at all! We loved the game room downstairs - air hockey, fuse ball, toys for kids, bean bags and a big high top table for 8 to play games and cards! We enjoyed corn hole outside, throwing a football, and sitting around the fire pit and sitting on the back deck. Enough bedrooms and room for all of us to still be together but yet have privacy with separate bedrooms. Host was very prompt with arriving and departing instructions!

Easy check in and even had a early check in time with no extra cost. We stayed here while in town for our sons wedding and had 6 men stay there with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. I highly recommend for any occasions or just to get away.

The property itself is decently nice. However, I’m certain they’ve had some pretty bad guests in the past. EVERYTHING around the home is labeled with directions on what to do and NOT to do (shut the fridge all the way, don’t cut directly on countertops, wash towels in this order, and many more). There were also many threats to charge you if you did or didn’t do things. I likely wouldn’t stay here again just because I felt like I was going to mess something up. Location is fairly close to downtown Chattanooga. Just my thoughts as a frequent VRBO user!
