Papa's Porch Cottage is tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and is the perfect location for a weekend getaway! The cottage includes two bedrooms (one queen, one full) as well as a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. It offers one full bath, a half bath, laundry, wrap around porch and outdoor fire pit.
Papa's Porch is the perfect location for an escape to a quaint mountain town that is home of the WNC Apple Festival. Papa's Porch Cottage is just 30 minutes south of Asheville, NC and 45 minutes north of Greenville, SC with many great outdoor attractions in-between. Accommodations very attractive and comfortable. Very nice neighbors. GPS gave very confusing, obscure directions. Ran in to washed out road. Later discovered Jordan street entrance. Would be good to give easy, clear directions to get to the cabin. Lovely ambience!

We had to use the back door to get the house key, and there was no light and the deck was slippery. Lighting in living room was limited - either too bright or too dim. Ice maker did not work. Pillows and beds were fine, although they seemed smaller than advertised. Bathrooms fine. Heating/air was good. Would suggest a railing in parking area for safety.
