Come and relax at this gorgeous lake retreat in the Belgrade Lakes region of Maine. Our cottage is located 40 feet from Messalonskee Lake in Sidney. Messalonksee Lake is about 9 miles long and is known for great fishing and one of the cleanest lakes in Maine. 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, sleeps 8.
Whether enjoying family time around the fire pit with a stunning sunset in the background or absorbing the amazing westerly views of the Fall foliage, this place has it all.

It was a nice place to stay, and we would come back again. The views were gorgeous from inside or on the deck which was important because it was chilly in morning! We had some minor issues/questions when we arrived and the host was very responsive. The manuvering space in the bedrooms can be a little tight but everything was very comfortable and clean.

We stayed at this cottage for Colby parents weekend. We worked from the cottage on Thursday and Friday. They WiFi worked well, the views of the lake are incredible, the propane fireplace kept us toasty warm. The decor is very nice and everything was stocked (kitchen pots and pans, bathroom towels, etc). The huge wrap around deck and grill would have been perfect had it not rained and the game room in the barn was an added bonus.
