NORTH CAPTIVA ISLAND
Unlike the more familiar Sanibel and Captiva, North Captiva stands apart. Private island, boat/plane access. Uncrowded white sand beaches, excellent shelling, wildlife. 2/3 state wildlife preserve, 1/3 vacation homes. No cars, no crowds, just one touristy shop, a handful of restaurants, 4 miles of stunning beaches, and friendly families. On the island, get around using electric golf carts, bikes, or simply your own two feet. Beach Paradise provides 2 carts (1x8 Passenger & 1x4 Passenger), powered by long-lasting batteries, for our guests' convenience.
GROUND FLOOR
Step into our beachfront oasis on the ground floor, where a heated pool awaits, surrounded by brand-new loungers and shaded dining tables for leisurely afternoon lunches. Dive into adventure with two clear-bottom paddleboards, challenge friends to ping pong or cornhole, and sink into the comfort of Tommy Bahama beach chairs on the sandy shores.
Inside, discover a recreational haven with foosball, air hockey, and a custom-painted pool table. Quench your thirst with the handy ground floor fridge, and unwind in style on the wicker sectional, accompanied by a 70-inch ROKU TV, perfect for post-sun relaxation. Two bunk beds and an attached full bath provide comfortable accommodations for up to four guests. Luxurious Samsung Washer and Dryer, conveniently placed in your beachfront oasis.

SECOND FLOOR
Experience a Beach Paradise on the second floor, featuring two bedrooms with king beds adorned in beach-inspired quilts, evoking memories of your seaside adventures. Two full bathrooms and a half bath add convenience to your stay.
The first full bathroom boasts elegant granite counters, dual sinks, ample lighting, and custom tile surrounding the bathtub. The second full bathroom also offers granite counters with a delightful turtle-themed decor and hooks for towels. The shower floor features soothing stones, creating a foot massage sensation, while a separate door offers privacy for the toilet area. The third bathroom, a charming half bath, is adorned with beach decor. In addition to the luxurious washer and dryer on the ground floor, Beach Paradise offers another set conveniently located on the second floor as well.

ProsBeautiful house. Loved the proximity to the beach. Pool was a very nice perk. Enjoyed the games in the basement. House was clean and beds comfy. Plenty of kitchen cookware and utensils.ConsFrom the hurricane, a lot of fixes still need completed such as fire alarms, wires sticking out, balcony tile sinking and soft, missing cushions for outdoor furniture. Golf carts were not what was on the listing. Only had one. They did bring us a second cart, but it had issues starting. Pool needs some fixes, there was no net to clean debris, and what is said is a hot tub is more a kiddy pool. If you cannot do a lot of stairs, this house isn’t for you. Would I stay here again, absolutely.

Beautiful house. Loved the location. I didn’t see in description had a second fridge or we would have ordered more food 1st time. We had small kids and bunk beds on the bottom floor was not ideal to leave them so parents had to sleep with them. Really no complaints. If it had a 4th bedroom with a queen I would definitely rent again

Overall we enjoyed our week on North Captiva Island. We love it there. This is our third time on the island, but first at this house. It is an ok house, but it was not in the best shape. I would not stay again. The inside was ok, but there was a broken window, a broken sliding glass door handle, no towel rack in bedroom, etc. Plenty of space for our group of 10. The problems were also on the grounds- Trash around pool, kayaks messy and in yard, pool sticks broken, missing air hockey puck making that game unusable. The pictures were not accurate. The pool was not completely full until Tuesday of our Sat to Sat stay and there is not a tiki like atmosphere to the pool area.
