Beautiful Home in Dorset

This is one of the cleanest properties we have stayed in so far and the garden is excellent for our dog, very secure. It's a really nice house with a good layout and I liked that there's a stair gate at the top of the stairs to stop the dog going to the upstairs rooms (we don't allow our dog upstairs in our home). We had everything we needed in the kitchen and there's a decent sized dining table for board games.. I liked the little touches for example there are two dog bowls under the sink. You will need to bring milk. The mattress was very comfortable and we slept well and the en suite shower is good. There's a local park in walking distance but be aware that at certain times of the year you are not allowed to let your dog off the lead. There's a parking space next to the house and it's a quiet cul-de-sac with friendly neighbours. You're spoiled for eating out. We tried the Botany Inn and The Greyhound both were excellent but I would say the service at the Greyhound was slightly better plus it's walking distance from the property. Most pubs allow dogs. We visited the Tank Museum which was brilliant (be mindful, the tank demonstrations are weekdays only and there's a 3.30pm sharp cut off for the vehicle rides). We took a picnic but the food looked good in the cafe. Also visited Durdle door (breathtaking but you might need walking sticks, wish I had some - take food, the choice is limited) and Lulworth Castle (very interesting and lovely grounds, recommend the cream tea and staff are so friendly). The property needed a few very small points of attention but Dani (homeowner) responded quickly and was so friendly. I cannot stress enough how clean the property is, we've done many trips via Booking.com and I don't usually review properties as everyone does such a great job but this property really was outstanding for cleanliness.

Nothing - it's a welcoming home with a family vibe to it and our dog was very comfortable. Ah, one thing, the towels are lovely but if you're a person of a curvy build (I speak for myself), you might need to bring a larger towel :)

Beautiful location, spotless and well loved house!

The only negative was that we missed the road because we couldn't see the road name sign but that's nothing really to do with the host!

A beautiful house nestled in a stunning location. The property was exceptionally well maintained, and all the facilities were clean, well equipped, and kept to a high standard.
