EIRA Fjord Stay with sauna, boat and fire pit by the fjord

The hosts were very charming, supportive and flexible. We especially loved the fire pit by the fjord where we spend every evening, gazing at the fjord and the mountains. The house is located in the vicinity of the city and airport of Tromsø (about 35 resp. 40 minutes by car). The rooms were in very good condition and clean, and the kitchen which we used every day was practical and well equipped. The hosts even left some smaller food and drink items.

The house is located next to a main road and there is some traffic early in the morning and in the evening.

Majoituspaikka oli erittäin viehättävä ja siisti. Sieltä löytyi kaikki mitä tarvitset ja vielä enemmän. Pidimme erityisesti nuotiopaikasta veden äärellä. Se oli ihana. Kaikki oli niin hyvin järjesteltyä ja mietittyä. Majoittaja on erittäin ystävällinen ja auttavainen. Tulemme tänne uudestaan!

Susann en Jørgen zijn ontzettend vriendelijke hosts en je kunt merken dat ze heel veel tijd en liefde hebben gestopt in dit appartement. Hun oog voor detail en de persoonlijke aandacht zoals hier hebben we in Noorwegen verder nog niet meegemaakt. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en er stond een welkomstpakketje voor ons klaar (waar we jammer genoeg geen gebruik van hebben kunnen maken vanwege het slechte weer). We mochten ook gebruik maken van de stofzuiger om de huurauto schoon te maken voor we die in moesten leveren. In het appartement is aan alle kleine dingen gedacht! Bovendien is de keuken heel uitgebreid waardoor je zelf makkelijk een maaltijd kunt bereiden. De communicatie met Susann verliep vriendelijk, open en helder. We werden vooraf geïnformeerd over de ligging van het appartement aan de e8 en de aanwezigheid van kinderen. Wij hebben het geluid vernomen maar we slapen met oordoppen en hebben er weinig tot geen last van gehad. Wij waren de eerste gasten die gebruik konden maken van de sauna met ijsbad en dat was echt fantastisch!! Zo ontzettend relaxt, mooi uitzicht, goed verzorgd, echt een enorme aanrader! Gun jezelf dat als je hier bent!

I honestly can’t imagine a better place to stay in Tromsø than Eira Fjord Stay. It’s everything you could hope for in this kind of getaway and more. The house is beautiful, set right by the fjord, offering the most incredible views of the Northern Lights. The room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with every little detail and amenity you could possibly need. But what truly made the experience special was how it felt—it didn’t feel like we were guests in a rental, but like we were being welcomed into the home of old friends. Sussan and Jorgen are, without a doubt, some of the kindest and most attentive hosts we’ve ever met. From picking us up at the airport to bringing us into the city whenever they could, their generosity and care went far beyond what we expected. If you plan your itinerary well, this place gives you the best of both worlds, peaceful, scenic moments by the fjord, and easy access to the city. It was truly an unforgettable stay.
