Property extremely clean, well equipped.

(2 person Hideaway apartment). Tastefully done modernisation of an old house. Decoration and condition immaculate. Very comfortable, well appointed and hosts very welcoming. No problems finding an on street parking place (see tip below). Village has a Booths supermarket and several good food options (no.3 Indian worth a try). Short drive to most of southern lakes. We liked the church bells …quintessential English ! Would definitely use again.

Consider these as tips rather than issues - all very minor: Parking restrictions apply during the middle of the day 11-4 (Fine for us as we were out and about). Park under the trees opposite the front door and you risk having your car covered in bird poo. Stick it further up the street or round the corner instead. WiFi coverage was sporadic. Adequate for most of the week but died on last 2 days. Maybe not enough bandwidth width to cover a full house and very thick walls for the signal to get through. 4G coverage is good. No traditional oven in 2 bed but microwave, grill & hob & village eating options meant we didn’t miss it.
