I thought the location was perfect, just a little outside the centre, but the central city was easily accessible on foot. Galway is a great location to explore Connemara, Sligo, and to the south, the cliffs of Moher, and set out on a boat for the Arran Islands.
Nothing apart from the rain. But when in Ireland, you don't come for hot sunshine. In fact it is a joy to come to when one lives on a hot Mediterranean island.

Kitchen was clean and well furnished. Private bathroom. Quality/price is good compared to the rest of Galway.
The room was really small. Shower was leaking. There was only one tiny shop close by, for the rest, it’s only accommodations. No sports facilities.
