At short notice we needed a place for one night near a car park with two bedrooms in Montmorillion. This fit the bill and was great value for money. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is very nice.
It is quite old and needs a good lick of paint. I’m not complaining for what we paid for it at all but it just needs a nice bit of modern decor to get rid of the ‘old smell’

It was very well situated. Quaint and quirky. Access to the town was easy. It was very well equipped.
There were maintenance issues and the finishes were poor in places. There were some lovely pieces of furniture but mismatched with modern ones. The bedding was plentiful but very tired. I couldn't reach things in the kitchen cupboards without finding something to climb on. Unless you are a heavy sleeper or have good earplugs, don't expect a lie-in. The nearby church bells start at 7am and last for several minutes.
