Stylish, Penn State-Themed Historic Getaway 2 Blocks from Waterfront

I loved the location. I loved the aesthetic of it!

I didn’t like that the main door to the building couldn’t be locked. The door to the apartment we stayed in was very fragile and there was a crack through it. I was worried all night about how someone could easily just break into the apartment and there would be nothing I could do to keep my daughter and I safe. It also had the scent of old ashtray. I don’t smoke cigarettes so I’m very sensitive to the smell. The entry way when you first walk in smelled very strong of cigarettes and unfortunately, the apartment had the lingering ashtray smell. Even after cleaning my cpap machine, when I got home, I was still stuck with the ashtray smell in my cpap machine for 3 co consecutive nights before it finally went away. Outside of my security concerns and the smell, the apartment was beautiful. The furniture wasn’t very comfortable but the beds were fine. It was definitely a well decorated place though.
