Milky Way

The room was a nice size and comfortable king size bed. The accommodation is a little cottage close to the main house but separate so nice and quiet. Anita brought a nice breakfast to our cottage each morning at the appointed time.

When we put the address into our GPS, it took us to downtown Hermanus. We kept looking to make sure we have the right address and we did. Finally, a neighbor came out to help and explained that the accommodations we were looking for are the same address but in a suburb. After that, we found it. I believe she sent further directions but it was after we left the previous night’s accommodations and we did not have cell service or WiFi so didn’t realize it. Would’ve been better to put the suburb explanation in the original description or email it earlier. The suburb was not too far away, so not a problem to get to the sights.

It was close to the beach, very safe. The host, Anita, made breakfast every morning as per my needs. Breakfast gets served in your own unit! Daily change of towels, cleaning of the unit. I stayed for a week and my linen was also chsnged. Exceptional service, hospitality from the host.

Anita is a Perfect host that is always available and helpful. Her cat Milky is very sociable and friendly. The wholesome daily breakfast is a perfect start to your day. This was a second stay at Milky Way and will definitely not be our last. The closeness to the Whale Coast Mall and Hermanus itself is a great plus.

Breakfast and space! The unit was very spacious. We were very comfortable
