Escape to our charming riverside cottage steps away from Lake Michigan and Silver Lake for an unforgettable getaway. Combining comfort with adventure right outside your doorstep, we have things to do for everyone. Within 2 miles of the village of Silver Lake, the area offers Lake Michigan and Silver Lake for swimming and boating, hikes to the Lighthouse, farmer's markets, shopping in Silver Lake, Pentwater and Ludington, golf, mini-golf, dune rides, Go Karts, fabulous biking trails, horseback riding and more. There’s a winery and apple orchard just a 10 minute drive away. Truly this area has it all for everybody at whatever speed you’d like!
Upon arriving at the cottage, you'll be greeted by the soothing sounds of the river nestled in the trees. The interior boasts a blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, ensuring your stay is both inviting and convenient. The open-concept living area features a well-equipped kitchen, dining table, and sitting area. The room is flooded with natural sunlight during the day with a cozy fireplace to enjoy during cool nights. Step outside onto the private deck to savor your morning coffee or take a quick stroll down to the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan to kickstart your day.
Want to entertain guests? Perfect! There's plenty of parking out front, please just be mindful of the parking guidelines as not to disrupt traffic or neighbors. The riverside deck has a picnic table to enjoy a meal with your loved ones while taking in the sights and sounds of nature. There's an additional entertainment patio inclusive of a built-in fireplace for a riverside warm-up or a tasty s'more!

Comfortable and scenic. Right on a little creek. Wildlife sightings on the back deck. Well furnished. Brad, the owner, was accessible and prompt with help when things didn’t work. Had an internet outage in area and little cell phone connection. Dryer needed a new part and was fixed during our stay. We were fortunate that it was cool enough that the lack of a/c wasn’t a problem (at temps above 85 it could be). Our family enjoyed the nearness to the beach and the amenities offered. Note: lots of stairs to navigate but there are handrails.

Roomy cottage with plenty of beds. Well stocked. Nice big deck out back that we enjoyed eating on and just hanging out on. The fire pit was great, the kids (and adults) loved the smores that was provided by the owners.

The cottage was a great place to stay! It offered everything needed for a relaxing time on the back porch or kayaking in the river. It was maybe a two minute walk down to the public access beach which had good sand and of course great views of the water. The lighthouse was a little further and had a much bigger beach but it was an easy walk too. Heading into town meant you have a lot to do. Highly recommend the Mac Wood's Dune ride as it helps give a good overview of the area, especially if you didn't plan on renting a dune buggy for yourself.
The stay was wonderful and coordinating with Brad was easy. He had the house set up well and the binder with ideas on what to potentially do was very useful.
The only real drawback is the limited cell reception in the area as a whole, but if you get on the wifi at the cottage it's all good. Plus it's good to unplug from time to time.
Overall it was an amazing stay and a great time for the family to relax and enjoy.

We had a lovely stay, the place is small but sweet. Worked well for our family. Lovely walk to Lake Michigan and the lighthouse.
