Relaxing Home w/ Fenced Yard & Covered Patio!

This house is roomy and decent. It has some flaws but is overall very nice. There was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy each other’s company. I would suggest some cozy blankets to snuggle on the couches.

We had an amazing time. The house was comfortable and clean. We would love to stay there again! It was a beautiful weekend and a huge part of that was having such a lovely place to stay!

The front door lock code being the same as the last four digits of my phone is ingenious. So easy to remember and enter without worryThe host is easy to access and so accommodating. Just a very lovely person. The location of the house in a nice neighborhood allows us to access stores, shopping centers and the Expo center all within 10 minutes of an easy drive.The beds are all soft and wonderfully comfortable to sleep in.There are a few things that I'd like to suggest however.1. Please fix the sliding door to the back yard with more than what is currently there. 2. Add black out drapes to the bedrooms rather than the gauzy drapes that are currently in use. (Costco has some great inexpensive ones.) I brought an extra lightweight cover to hand over the window in my room. The outside Street lights keep the rooms lighter than necessary for sleeping and are a bit worrisome as to what can be seen through the window from the outside.3. Replace the master bedroom door with something that isn't warped.4. Make sure that your house cleaner wipes all drawers and throws away all items found in the dressers (A bunch of lady's underwear was left in one dresser and I washed the utensil drawer that had spaghetti sauce spilled in it.)5. Perhaps add a container of Dawn dish soap for the kitchen so that when we hand wash the dishes, we have soap.I mention these things only as a helpful reference. We do love the house and location and everything else was absolutely great

Beginning with the positive aspects of the rental, it was clean, and the neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen was reasonably equipped for our stay. Working with the property owner was easy. However, we were surprised to find the condition of the property to be substandard for the cost incurred. When we arrived the towels were not out of the dryer and put in the bathrooms. There were many doors with cracks or what looked like fist marks in them and cabinet doors missing. It looked like an inexperienced painter had painted the inside of the home recently and the curtains were sheer and not sufficient for privacy. The yard was unattractive but it didn’t impact our stay. Overall, the home still needs a lot of improvements but it was sufficient for purposes of staying close to OSU for graduation weekend.
