Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo. The view was just AMAZING. Loved the kitchen space and the location was perfect, directly on the beach. The staff, Max in particular and Renee were very nice and helpful. The instructions to access the key were very clear. There were some specific issues that Max was EXTREMELY responsive to helping us be more comfortable. Specifics include: unable to get into the condo initially as the housekeepers used the dead bolt to lock the door, extremely old commode seat in the lower bathroom which Max promptly replaced, TY. There were some other issues such as loose couch arms, and dangerously loose kitchen chair legs which again Max was super responsive in fixing/tightening. Overall, just lovely place and we are planning on going back next year. It has many stairs in particular to get up to the living space and down into the bathrooms which could be a particular hazard to those that have limited mobility. No cushions for the outside chairs/lounge available. Also the bedroom with the fireplace is SUPER loud given that the fireplace sounds like a wind tunnel if it is at all windy out. As a suggestion you might want to move the mattress from that fireplace room down to the basement room on the left as the springs in that bed made it very uncomfortable for our son to sleep in.

The entry way provided a great area to keep all of our beach stuff without imposing on the living areas. There was plenty of room for all adults to sit around in the living room or kitchen/dining room. We would definitely stay at this location again, as it is in a great area of the beach. We could stand on our balcony, which offers fantastic views out into the ocean up towards north myrtle beach, and down towards south myrtle beach. We were right in the middle of all the things we like to do while visiting the beach. I didn’t have to get down to the beach at 7am just to get a spot to enjoy, the nearby river provided a different experience for the kids to play in as well. If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed even with minor the headaches we encountered. They are nothing that 1. The parking was out biggest concern. We found out the property was only giving us 2 parking passes, and how can a penthouse that can support 8 adults, only be given 2 passes? We got lucky made some friends who had extra passes they let us use for the week.2. The other issue could be fixed easily and would be very beneficial to the penthouse. The lower level bedrooms need better light blocking curtains. The sun beats down on the unit, and the light filtering blinds do not do a good enough job at keeping the sun from heating up the lower level. The 2 families that were in the lower level, had trouble keeping cooler in the evening, since the AC was laboring so much to try and keep up with the sun’s rays all day.

Our main issue was that the master bed was broken. My husband went to Home Depot to get some wood to prop it up. The location and views were great! The beach was clean. Could have used some dish clothes and dish towels. We would definitely come back. We had a great family vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit and the view from the penthouse were 10/10. That’s about where it ends. Palmetto vacation agency does not pick up the phone, does not respond to text messages if you need ANYTHING you might as well contact the building you are staying in management. While the unit was mostly clean, my daughter did find a few used socks under the edge of her bed (not a big deal we simply through them away) but my mother found 3 Advil by the night stand in her room. We had 4 children with us so that was concerning considering there were missed and could have been something other than advil that was left out. None of the upstairs TVs worked for the first two days, Wi-Fi password for the penthouse was not left in the unit and never given to me after I had asked for it.
