Maison Noire- stunning Scandinavian design

We had a wonderful stay! The space was brand new, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic and made it easy to get around. Would definitely stay here again!

A few small things to mention as a helpful heads-up for future guests. When we first arrived, there was quite a strong smoky smell in the space, and we weren’t sure why. After using the open fireplace for the first time, we understood where the smell was coming from. It may be worth noting this for guests who aren’t used to an open fireplace. The TV is positioned directly above the fireplace, so it’s worth being mindful that the heat rises directly underneath it. For guests who aren’t familiar with using an open fireplace, this may not be immediately obvious. One other small suggestion is regarding the shower dispensers. The stands holding the three pumps for body wash, shampoo and conditioner don’t feel particularly sturdy if you put your weight on the pump while dispensing. We found it safer to hold the bottle/pump in your hand or dispense without putting pressure on the stand. Overall, these are only minor points and certainly didn’t take away from our stay. We loved the space and would happily stay again — just sharing these as helpful suggestions for future guests and the hosts.

We had a wonderful time and truly appreciated the warmth, comfort and thoughtful touches throughout the home. It was a great place to relax, unwind and make some lovely memories.

One small piece of feedback: while the property is advertised as having a pool, we felt the size was more in keeping with a plunge pool or spa. It may be helpful to make this clearer in the listing description so guests have an accurate expectation of the pool size.

Stunning property with luxurious finishes and styled to perfection. Absolute perfection for a cozy, winter girls weekend away.
