Richard's Home

I met Richard on arrival. Easy access with good communication prior to arrival. I felt safe in the house. Good to have a fridge I could put a couple of things into. Room to park my car on the drive. Information card in my room, with everything I needed to know included Plenty of storage in my room if I was staying longer. Blinds and curtains helped keep the room dark and private. It felt like staying at a mates house. Homely environment, warm and not pretentious. Great location for gigs on at Chester Tavern which is a short walk away.

The mattress felt a bit lumpy when I first got into bed, but I soon settled and had a good night's sleep. The downstairs toilet lock was not working , but Richard was aware and was dealing with it. These were minor points and it was a good value, homely place to stay.

Communal toilet being there after dark could not find light switch. Door to room mainly glass with curtain but lights came on every time someone came in. Impression not good as you came in front door,stuff everywhere
