Cozy Apartment in Drymades Village

The hosts were very friendly from the get go and made us feel very welcome. The apartment had everything we needed and was very spacious and had many amenities (coffee, cutlery, fridge etc). The apartment had a great high up view Dhermi and good spot to sit at.

There wasn’t much in the village, most restaurants are down at the beach so make sure you have transport or a taxi service to go up and down from the beach. The taxis were very helpful to us though, we didn’t have a car and the first taxi we took we used for the rest of our trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Cosy Apartments Dhërmi. The apartment was spotless when we arrived, and throughout our stay it felt clean, comfortable, and very well cared for. It truly felt like coming home after a day at the beach, exploring Dhërmi, or enjoying a boat trip. The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available if you need anything. Although they don’t speak English, communication was never a problem thanks to a translation app. They went out of their way to help us with every question, and their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. Another big advantage is the location. Instead of staying in the busy tourist area, the apartment is situated in the charming, authentic part of Dhërmi. It offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere while still being just a short drive from the beaches and other attractions. We highly recommend Cosy Apartments Dhërmi to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and authentic place to stay with wonderful hosts. We would happily stay here again.

Beautiful location in Dhermi old town, up in the mountains, but still close to the beaches, just a 10 minute drive. The village is gorgeous and our hosts were friendly and helpful, wonderful people. They don’t speak english, but we understood each other with the help of google translate and their son could answer any questions they couldn’t over WhatsApp. The apartment was spacious and clean and we had a beautiful ocean and sunset view on the porch outside. Incredible location. Also a bar nearby with beautiful views and a nice looking hotel where you can have a meal or drink.

Dhermi old town is car free, which is great, but you have to park the car about 5 to 10 minutes from the accomodation which can be a hassle if you have a lot of luggage as we did, because then you have to take it over the old stone streets and there are a few steps. Not an issue if you are travelling light, and the host will even give you a hand with some luggage. Also you should have a car if you are staying here, otherwise you will be very limited, it’s a very long walk down to the beach and especially hard going up. Finally the shower pressure is a bit weak, but I assume this must be an issue for the entire village.
