Redhill Lodge

A nice little lodge out the way. Quiet good location for local amenities and a good base for exploring the area

We had a problem with water pressure and heating most mornings. I believe the water come from th main house and 7am is not a great time for there not. to be enough water for a shower. I did phone the owner who came immediately ro try fix the problem but it is something that maybe needs to be looked into. And a minor issue, the sofa kept collapsing which made it interesting when watching TV

Loved how quiet and secluded it was, loved the size of the beds and bedrooms. Had amazing family time with a bbq on the patio. There was nothing we needed that wasn't already there. It was very clean and enjoyable.

The incline to the lodge was steeper than we expected as my husband uses a walking stick but it was manageable.

Nothing - a little hard to enter on a wet day up a thin path but not a problem

The location was great. The hosts were attentive

The king bed was incredibly uncomfortable and the sofa kept falling apart. There were quite a few spiders on the bathroom ceiling and in the corners of the room. The shower went cold multiple times but after day two we figured out if you turn it to cold and then back to hot, the hot water would kick back in. The floor is also super creeky, which is ok aside from when you're trying to sneak through the kids bedroom to the bathroom in the middle of the night
