'Top of Town' Resort-style Stay in Heart of Darwin

This apartment was not as close to the centre as I had hoped - probably my mistake - but with at least a 20 minute walk to Mitchell Street and Smith Street (which appeared to be the central areas) I would not say it was in the "Heart of Darwin" - but it was very clean and spacious. There are several free bus services for transport around the area and these helped with the distances to the areas attractions - Mindil Beach, Fannie Bay Gaol, Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory and so on.

The instructions for collecting the keys were okay but for entering the building not clear at all unless you had a car (an assumption that seems to be made on the Guest Information Sheet) as they describe entering via the garage with no reference to the front door. Although we did find it eventually - no signage whatsoever - it was more a matter of elimination purposes even after requesting this information from the Hosts. The photo that was sent depicting the entrance was even less clear. I have added the photo that was sent to us but also the ones that I took that may help others trying to find the front door (if you aren't using a car) to this apartment building. Picture 1 is what I was sent to show where the front door is. Picture 2 is my photo of the passageway to that front door. Picture 3 shows where the lock boxes are - red line to the right - and the front door - red line right along the passageway to the end on the left.

The size and layout were excellent for the 3 of us. Beautiful outlook over Darwin with water views. Good amount of cutlery and crockery.

It was modern & well equipped in the kitchen area.. Shower was lovely & bed comfortable with good pillows . Air-conditioning worked well .Washing machine was appreciated & utilised . Balcony pleasant place to sit & unwind

Communication was slow & bit frustrating with management at times . Couldn't find recycling bin . Was kept awake most nights til 4-5 am with nearby " locals " partying & arguing in the park ,therefore, location not the greatest.
